In "Promoting Positive Parenting for Families in Poverty: New directions for Improved Reach and Engagement" it states that employment issues present additional strains on parenting especially if it is a single-parent household. Employment challenges have evidence for negative behavioral outcomes in children.

The Americas’ Job Center is a comprehensive federally funded program designed to strengthen our nation’s public workforce system and help Americans, including youth and those with significant barriers to employment, secure high-quality jobs and careers. We also help employers hire and retain skilled workers. This is funded through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
